Crunchy Fall LEAVES

As a Mom I feel bad admitting that until now Grayer had never jumped in a pile of leaves. In my opinion it is an activity you have to do at least once (preferable more) in you lifetime. So one afternoon we got out the rake and created a big pile of leaves for Grayer to jump in and roll around in and I got the camera out to document this occasion:) Grayer had a blast!!!

Lucky for us we picked the perfect day because the next day our grounds people came and cleaned up all the leaves around our house.  

Apple Picking

Not many words are needed for this post... Just a lovely fall afternoon surrounded by beautiful apple trees and beautiful boys!!! 

FALL FUN!

We have had a marvelous Fall Season so far here in New York. The weather has been amazing which has given us more time to play outside before it turns really cold. One of our favorite fall activities is to visit little farms and markets....

Our first stop was a place called Wickham Farm. This was our first time here and we had a great afternoon looking at the animals, playing on the playground, pretending to milk a cow, and jumping on the jumping pillow.

Our next adventure was to Stokoe Farms, a place we love to visit annually. If/when we move away from New York we will miss this fun place a lot!! 

We love giant slides

We love climbing a mountain of hay

 We love bikes that can fit our whole family 

We love being outside with each other 

 We love hay rides 

 We love exploring a tree house in the woods

 We love pumpkin patches 

 We love riding the train 

We love looking at the baby chicks

We love falling asleep from utter exhaustion in Daddy's arms

We love riding all sorts of different bikes

 We love that they had a jumping pillow just like Wickham Farms

Andrew's Last Recital at Eastman

At the beginning of September Andrew performed his 3rd and last recital here at Eastman. This recital being called a "lecture recital" was different from the other 2 recitals because Andrew basically had to write a thesis paper and then during his recital he had to defend his research which was about 30 min of presenting and then sing his music which was about another 30 min.
 Unfortunately, I don't have any recordings to post but I did get some before and after pictures! He did a really good job, it was probably my favorite recital of his that I have been to.
