Christmas in Idaho

One of the downfalls of traveling over the Holidays is we always seem to get sick... Andy got the flu, an ear and sinus infection. I got an ear and sinus infection, along with a bad cold. Grayer got an ear and sinus infection. And Finden got a bad cold that caused him not to sleep through the night - boo:(  

However, one of the perks of traveling home to Idaho for the Holidays is that we get to be with our wonderful parents who are so good and kind to us!! Even though we were sick we still had an amazing time being with family!

I captured a few photos, like this one, where you can tell Finden isn't feeling so hot. But this was rare, even though he was sick he still was a very happy and sweet baby as you can see in the next picture.

I remember Grayer was sad about something, but I waited too long to document this picture so I don't remember what it was. 

This was Andy's first day out of bed since we had arrived 4 days earlier. This was when he had the flu.

Later that afternoon we went down to Andy's parents house for some more Christmas fun!

Christmas in New York

Santa came a little early for us again this year due to our travel plans over the holidays! So on December 21st the boys woke up to presents under the tree, a McDonalds breakfast (I was too tired to cook), and a trip to the movies for later that afternoon!

It was fun having TWO boys to spoil this year!! 

Gingerbread House

Grayer loves to make a gingerbread house each Christmas and since this was Finden's first Christmas he joined in for the best part, licking the frosting off the beaters:)

While both our parents were here Andy't parents and sister stayed at our place and my parents stayed in a hotel. My Dad had just had hip surgery less than 2 week prior to coming out so he didn't want to have to do worry about our stairs. Plus, our place is little so it would have to been too squishy to have everyone here!!! Grayer loved that they stayed in a hotel because he got to spend a night with them there. And we got to go swimming a couple of times with them.

One morning we met them at a little bagel shop down the street from the hotel for breakfast! 

November 30th!!

November 30th 2013 was a day our family will never forget. It was the day we were able to seal our little Finden Linford to our family for time and all eternity in the Palmyra, NY Temple!

The day was wonderful with only a few mishaps of forgetting the adoption papers and Finden hitting his head creating a nice red mark on his forehead:) 

But all of those things we soon forgotten and replaced with a wonderful spirit as we knelt around the alter as a little family of 4 and were sealed together. We were blessed to have our wonderful family there along with many of our dear friends! This adoption has been an amazing experience and blessing for our family and this day was just the icing on the cake!!

We asked a friend from our ward who is a very talented photographer to take a few pictures. It was freezing but I love the few we got!! 

After the Temple we all went out to dinner to the Cheese Cake Factory to celebrate our special day!!
