Blessing Finden

While we were in Idaho we decided to bless Finden.
We wanted all of our families to be there and did our best to work around everybody's schedules.
We kept it small and did it on a Wednesday night in my parent's home. Even though we were still missing a few family members we are so glad we were able to bless Finden and are grateful for all the love and support we felt that night.
Andy gave a beautiful blessing to this beautiful little boy!

This is the same little blessing outfit Grayer wore and Andy wore it when he was a baby!
My Mom hand quilted this beautiful blanker for our family to use for all our children's blessings.

I tried to get a picture of all those in attendance...

2 Week Well Check

Finden reached his 2 week mark while we were still in Idaho. So we got to go see "Dr. Grandpa" one last time before we left!!!

2 weeks: 8 lbs
At Birth: 7 lbs 11 oz
LOVE!!!!
It think it is so special that both my boys were delivered and taken care of by their Grandpa.
We love you Grandpa:)

Date with Mom

Since Finden has been born Andy and I are trying to make sure that Grayer still feels special and loved.
So while we were still in Idaho I got to go on a date with my little man!!
We went to the Colonial Theater and watched a production of "Skippy Jon Jones"
(Thanks Jon and Melinda for giving us the tickets we had a blast!)

Finden and our visit with the Christensen Family

Whenever we are in Idaho we get to see both of our families! I admit at times it is hard to split our time between the 2 houses but overall we are thrilled to be able to see everyone in one trip home. We had lots of fun at the Christensen home and loved introducing little Finden to all the family. He was immediately loved and became the main attraction:)

Flowers that my Dad and Mom sent me

Yeah for Finden's first real bath!!! His emibilcal cord finally fell off so we did a real bath. He still didn't like it much but he got used to it and loves his baths now!

Awesomeness!
One day we went to the sand dunes and played together
Another day my Mom took me out for some girl time.
We went to lunch at Babe's Bakery and then on to get a pedicure.
Grayer loved Grandma and Grandpa's jeep
We rescued this little duckling from a window well at my parent's house.
We had the little pool out so we put it in there and it swam with Grayer for a while.
Grayer was in Heaven playing "Mommy Duck"

We also took lots of bike rides while we were home.
We snuggled Finden in the "trunk" part of the bike trailer, put Grayer in the front, and took off.

While we were in Idaho my Brother, Rob, and his family from Georgia had also planned to come for their family trip. It was lucky that we overlapped for a few days so we got to see them as well as my sister, Amy, and her family from Utah and my brother, Jon, and his family from Idaho. We had everyone there except for my sister, Megan from Indiana. We did a little mini family reunion up at the cabin!
Cousin Sam caught the only fish and got to clean it himself too!!
Aunt Amy getting some yummy Finden kisses
Couisin Emma loved to help with baby Fin
Uncle Jon took Grayer out on the motorbike

I think this is one of the only times Prescott stopped playing with Grayer to hold Finden.
Grayer loved following this awesome cousin around!
