November was EXCITING!!!

So in November we had both Andy's parents and sister, and my parents here with us in New York. They came because we sealed Finden to us in the Palmyra Temple. They were also here for Thanksgiving so we had loads of fun being together.

Andy's family arrived first and we had a few days with them alone. It was their first time to the area so we took them to all the church sites. They were troopers because it was cold and snowing but we couldn't pass up the chance to visit these special places because of a little weather!

Grayer loved the awesome "snow wheelchair" they had for Grandma

It was our first time visiting the site in the winter so it will be fun to have the same pics in different seasons.
I now have summer, fall, and winter

We rented this car for the day so that we could all ride together

It was a long day

Tummy Troubles

For the past 3 to 4 months Grayer has been having tummy troubles, It is really sad:( Every once in a while at night I catch him moaning and tossing and turning in his bed. Then during the day he will be very lethargic and just lay around. Symptoms are: 72 hour anorexia, throws up only once, pain in his tummy, fever sometimes but not always. Treatments we have tried: Hot pad on his tummy to help relax him, water for dehydration, food tracking to see if it is something he is eating, miralax to help him poop, pepcid for acid, and lots and lots of love. We have been to the doctor and are trying to figure it out but in the mean time we have days like this every once in a while....
but we hope for days like this...

Cute Boys in Fall Leaves

We tried to do our own little photo shoot with the boys in the November leaves but it didn't workout so well.
Finden was not such a fan of the leaves plus he just wanted to put them all in his mouth....

And Grayer didn't want to stop to get his picture taken, he was having to much fun jumping in the leaves...
Oh well, they are still cute boys!!!

Adoption Finalization!

BACK IN OCTOBER WE WERE ABLE TO GO TO COURT AND FINALIZE OUR ADOPTION WITH FINDEN. IT TOOK ALL OF 10 MINUTES AND HE WAS LEGALLY ALL OUR'S!!!

OUR ATTORNEY ASKED IF IT FELT DIFFERENT NOW, AND WE SAID THAT IT DIDN'T BECAUSE HE HAS ALWAYS FELT LIKE OUR LITTLE BABY BOY!

HERE WE ARE WITH OUR ATTORNEY (BY SUSAN) AND OUR JUDGE (BY ANDY)

Halloween 2013

We had a great Halloween this year with lots of chances to wear costumes and to get LOTS and LOTS of candy!!
We went trick or treating at a Nursing Home.

Grayer had a costume parade at school.
Grayer and his friend Grant were both Batman!
Grayer had a the cutest audience member there to watch him!

We carved our pumpkins.
Wreck it Ralph and Dracula

We had our ward Halloween Party and Trunk or Treat at the church.
Pirate with his Parrot

I decorated our trunk with Shark Teeth!

On Halloween Night we went Trick or Treating around our neighborhood plus out with some friends to an additional neighborhood.

So when I said lots of candy I meant lots of candy! You can see from Finden's face that we were high on candy for a long time. In fact, it is now January and we still have some Halloween candy lurking in our pantry:)
