A Blood Orange
Have you ever heard of a blood orange? I sure haven't, at least not until this past week when Andy brought one home. Somebody at school gave it to him. I had no idea what to expect when I peeled it, and this is what I found...
I thought it was really cool to be eating a red orange :) and it tastes just like a regular orange!

Pretty fun!!! Is it something they grow there? Does much citrus grow in TN?
That's funny--we just bought one a few weeks ago! I couldn't get past the visual effect. It kind of grossed me out. Rob and Sarah were the only ones who liked it.
